Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Surrogacy.ie (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What Surrogacy.ie is — and is not
Surrogacy.ie is an information service about surrogacy in Ireland. We are not a surrogacy agency, fertility clinic, law firm, or matching service. We do not introduce or match surrogates with intended parents. Surrogacy in Ireland is governed by the Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 and overseen by AHRRA.
2. Not legal or medical advice
All content on the Site is general information only and is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. It may not reflect the most current legal position. Always obtain independent advice from a qualified solicitor, clinician, or counsellor about your specific circumstances before acting.
3. Expressions of interest
If you submit an enquiry or expression of interest, you consent to us contacting you about it and, where appropriate, signposting you to regulated pathways and qualified professionals. Submitting an enquiry creates no obligation on either side and does not constitute entry into any surrogacy arrangement. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
4. Third-party links and listings
The Site links to and lists third parties (clinics, solicitors, counsellors, agencies and official bodies). Listing or linking does not constitute endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content, services, availability, or accuracy. Verify details directly with the provider.
5. No warranty
The Site is provided "as is". While we aim for accuracy, we make no warranty that the content is complete, current, or error-free, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Intellectual property
Site content is owned by or licensed to Surrogacy.ie and may not be reproduced without permission, except for normal personal, non-commercial use.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
